I paid a visit to The East Midlands Airport Aeropark on Thursday 29 August 2002. I was given an excellent guided tour by James Barber, one of the Aeropark Volunteers Association (AVA) members and a good friend of mine. This page is dedicated to James and the Aeropark AVA members who devote their time freely to restore and maintain our heritage.

The Aeropark is situated to the West of East Midlands Airport, the entrance is between the entrance to Donington Park race circuit and the village of Castle Donington and is clearly signposted. The Aeropark opens on Thursday 10.30 - 5.00, Saturday 12.00 - 5.00 and Sunday 10.30 - 5.00, Saturdays are open from April until the end of October during the Summer. Thursdays and Sundays are all year round, it is also open on all Bank Holidays except Christmas. Entrance fee and parking is £1.
The Aeropark recently moved all its exhibits from the old location to its new home. Not all of the exhibits are on display, but what follows are a series of pictures and information on the Aeropark as it stands at present. More exhibits will arrive, I will keep you advised of any future developments by updating this page.
