Married with no children, I joined the RAF as an Assistant Air traffic Controller in 1976, after 12 years service I left and joined Capital Airlines (now defunct) as an Operations Controller. After the collapse of the Airline I joined Air Bridge Carriers/Hunting Cargo also as Operations Controller rising to the heights of Duty Operations Manager. When the Airline moved its Ops to Dublin and became Air Contactors and I moved on to Operations Duty Officer for Britannia Airways at Luton. I then got a job as Assistant Air Traffic Controller at East Midlands, which is where my connection to John comes in. I was then unemployed for 8 months following a move to Air Cavrel, but I am now back in full time employment as an Operations Officer at East Midlands.
